Hal and Nora

Hal and Nora's 40 ft class "A" motorcoach, powered by a 5.9 liter 24 valve Turbo Diesel Cummins. Hal ordered the custom tank and kit from greasecar and drove to the Upper Peninsula where Randall Webber did the conversion and also added 310 watts of solar power. Hals 70 gallon veggie tank was installed by digging a "pit" and driving the motorcoach over it ( this was Nora's idea) everything went smoothly, Hal emptied all of Randall's reserve veggie ( 55 gallons). The test day came and Hal drove for 15 minutes while getting instructed in the purge process, after purging to get all air in the veggie lines out he switched to grease and the Cummins kept on ticking . We checked the tank and components of the system twice on the "shakedown" cruise, absoulutely no problems, Hal was excitedly scooping up exhaust which smelled like fried chicken ( much to his delight).
