I just graduated from art school in Florida, but while I was down south
I ran into a few students from NOLS (The National Outdoor Leadership
School) at a tree house hostel in Brunswick, Georgia. They arrived on a
veggie-converted diesel city bus, and therefore we lovingly titled them
the Veggie Kids. They gave me a lot of information on converting and got
the gears in my head turning. A few months later, my beloved Volvo
station wagon rusted to death on her last mile in northern Virginia. I
shed a few tears at her loss, so the mechanic who pronounced her
"undriveable" took pity on me and sold me Suddenly Seymour, my '79
diesel Mercedes, who has taken fine care of me ever since. As soon as
Seymour fell into my hands, I knew what must be done. I waited until
some cash came in and then ordered up the kit and on-board filtration
system. My dad and I spent the week together installing the kit
ourselves, and after some thrown wrenches and a few other mishaps,
including a hole being drilled into a full tank of gas, we are
successfully up and running. Now that Seymour is ready to go, I am going
to drive cross country with my gal pal to go live in Seattle, and we
hope to burn veggie oil every step of the way.

By the way, my Dad is rarely pleased with car parts, but we both agreed
your system was beautiful, simple and well designed. We've had a
relatively easy time installing the system ourselves and would like to
thank Greasecar for making a great product.
