Greasecar Customer Profiles

We use our greased Suburban to pull our travel trailer over to the coast from our house in Hunters, WA. And we also use it for the "big trips" to Spokane, since we live 2 hrs. away from there.

Patrick is a senior at Kansas State University where he is studying mechanical engineering. Patrick and a friend installed the conversion kit in January of '08 for a study of vegetable fuel systems Patrick is working on.

Nick had his Greasecar kit installed on his 12 Valve Dodge with the Co-Pilot controller, and is putting it to work immediately.
"The Dodge has a Greascar Kit and 15-gal tank installed just recently, and it's running fine on grease. The truck's job is to tow our 28-ft sailing yawl cross-country to and from Illinois. In June we leave for Padre Island, Texas. I plan to embark with 80-gallons of WVO on board."
Nick is no stranger to the WVO world running his VW Rabbit on grease as well.

First off let me say thanks for a well engineered and quality built product.

The car is a 1987 Mercedes Benz 300D with 250,000 miles. My wife drives about 70 miles each day for work, and loves the smell!!!

Thanks
Brett, Ashley and Ryan

I live in Michigan in a small town. My son has been fooling around with diesel cars since he was 16 years old. He bought himself an old VW Golf and figured out how to convert it to run Veggie Oil by himself. He ran around town with that car for 2 yrs. My son told me to find a diesel car, so I bought this fine 1983 Mercedes 300D. My son found out about Greasecar.com and we ordered the kit. Much easier then making it all yourself.. but Hey, It did work! So now I am a happy owner of a converted car. There were a few adjustments in the beginning, but we got it figured out.

Another satisfied Greasecar customer here. I received my kit about a month ago and I already have logged 1,000 miles on grease. Even though I'm not a mechanic I did most of the installation of the system myself by watching the great DVD that you produced.

The only thing I didn't do was run the heater hoses from the engine compartment to the trunk. I left that up to the professionals at New Tech Automotive in Sarasota. They took a couple of hours and removed the heat shield and muffler and ran the hoses for me.

The Great Green Ambulance has a custom designed greasecar kit which includes a 40 gallon vegetable oil tank and a sweet on-board filtration system which was purchased from Grease Car Vegetable Fuel Systems and installed by the mechanics at Advanced Technical Repair both located in the Happy Valley of Western MA . Check out their websites at: www.greasecar.com and www.advancedtechrepair.com

117,500 miles at the time of installation.

Since the install I?ve put on another 5000 miles using vegetable oil. So far no problems and I?m loving the amount of diesel that I?m ?NOT? using. The Greasecar adventure has been interesting and fun. I drive approx 1500 miles per week to go back and forth to work. The Grease car system is saving me a significant amount of money not having to use much diesel. My wife is now on board with the idea, and doing a wonderful job at acquiring vegetable oil sources.

As a green skateboard company owner, Sk8ology, I wanted a ride that was socially conscious AND still had some luxury bling factor.

After spending a year & a half searching for a low mileage S-Class Benz I finally found one in Phoenix and bought a one way ticket from San Diego to go buy it. After driving it home I promptly brought it up to Jack Bulko's shop, Auto Aid in Van Nuys, to have the Greasecar Kit installed. They did an awesome job on the install and were even able to replace the obsolete dash phone with the Greasecar Veggie Fuel gauge and switch.

We're Caren and Neil and we just purchased and modified a '99 Suburban with the Greasecar system. We've since learned quite a lot about veggie oil and car mechanics, and we are a lot happier driving around the country burning a renewable and more environmentally friendly resource. Your tech support has also been very helpful in trouble-shooting and allowing us to fix any snares on our own.
Yay! Great investment for us and our future, we have a baby due next month!
