1977 Mercedes Benz 300D installation done by Daryl Beck in April 2005. Has burned 10-20 gallons of free waste soybean oil per week since. Highlights include a round trip from Boston to Montreal through the Green Mountains of Vermont on less than 1 gallon of diesel.

Carsten Steenberg's 2006 Jetta TDI is fueld by Marlintini's restaurant. Marlintini's provides used kitchen vegetable oil for Steenberg's car. Marlintini's frying oil is a clean grade, being free of water and food particles, and is filtered by Kitchen Manager, Sean, for restaurant use, seen here filling up the tank. Carsten proudly displays the restaurants logos in exchange for this oil.

The 2006 has only 1,000 miles on it when Daryl Beck got his hands on it for conversion.

Steve H. and William L. love their 1982 VW diesel Westfalia! Steve installed the kit in two days and William filters vegetable oil from the local Chinese restaurant. Both say it runs better on veggie oil!

Attached is a photo of our 2002 VW Jetta which was upgraded to WVO in Nov 2005.
The plate "PAPANAM" means "Where are we going?" in Tagalog (Filipino).
In two years of driving (we were both in Iraq for at least a year) over 150K miles
were put on the car, and we intend to continue, only using WVO.
In addition to the kit, we had an second fuel filler put on the drivers side,
so that the trunk wouldn't have to opened.
Thank you all at GreaseCar!

Frank Urban drove from Kenucky to have Daryl Beck perform the installation on this 2005 Dodge Ram Big Horn Dually. The truck is outfitted with some new Greasecar technology as well as the on-board collection rig. This sleek dash panel holds the Greasecar level gauge and green temp gauge.

As a piano tuner, I do a lot of driving. The amount of gasoline I use in a year really bothered me for several reasons. First, as an environmentalist, I wanted an alternative that would be less polluting. Second, the dependency on foreign oil in this country has so many short and long-term problems that I was eager to find a fuel source made in the USA.

This is Hillary Webber's 1989 Jetta, 1.6 Liter 5 speed greased and ready to roll! Hillary did the hands on install with her Father Randall Webber in ONE DAY!! This is Randalls cold weather conversion which includes the insulated trunk bottom and the tank shown insulated, the hoses are loomed and run along the sill plate INSIDE the car to prevent heat loss and dragging through the snow which can get pretty deep. This is a Wolfsburg Edition, which currently gets 55 MPG!! Now with veggie your looking at 750 + miles on a tank of veggie.

We got this note from Lee Walker who converted his solar electric systems company's Powerstroke.

Azsolar.com?s 02' Powerstroke

After generating our own electricity and growing our own hydroponic fruits & vegetables, fuel was definitely the next step. It made perfect sense to convert the solar company delivery truck to grease as we?re already deeply involved in the renewable energy field. Lee is now able to deliver his solar electric systems to the most remote areas of the Southwest on veggie oil....

I just converted my car this August, and am now 17 but have been
planning and pushing to do it since I was 16. I see how important it is to be one of the first of my generation to do so in this country, if
not the world, and hope others will catch on soon!

This 2001 Ford Powerstroke Dually is a real workhorse. Mark can put as many as 1,200 grease miles on this truck in a week. He had it outfitted with a 40 Gallon tread plate tank.
