Greasecar Customer Profiles

Greetings from California! I have recently converted my 1985 Mercedes 300TD Wagon to the Greasecar Veggie Oil System and have been racking up greasy miles ever since. Since I get my waste oil from a Japanese restaurant, it seems to put a tempura aroma in the air where ever I go! As a musician, I load my instruments up in the back of my car and away I go, it saves me mucho deniro when traveling to gigs and rehearsals, and I am not contributing to the already smoggy California skyline either. Thanks Greasecar, and keep up the innovations.

Barclay's 2005 Mercedes CDI had less then 2,000 total miles on it when he brought it in for conversion. This Mercedes is about 20 years newer then his last Greasecar, and has quite a few more features. Barclay will fuel this Benz with grease from his own restaurants.

Hi Folks,
I converted my 84 Volvo with one of your kits this spring and have put about 1000 grease miles on the car this summer. The engine ran smoothly on the first run and has been running smoothly ever since. I have an endless supply of used vegetable oil as I own a restaurant here in Frederick, MD (The Orchard). Thanks for a quality product.

Look for Joey & JJ on the roads this summer as they film a documentary covering the in's and out's of a the alternative fuel movement titled "Greasy Rider". Greasecar equipped the guys with an on the road filtration unit, so they could fill up on the road with ease. Last we heard they were out west somewhere, and have been meeting with all sorts of folks along the way, including actor Morgan Freeman, Greasecar installers, competitors and friends. This is David's 2nd Greasecar, a 1996 Dodge Cummins 12V. You can see the insulated box David put together to maintain heat in the harsh Michigan winters.

Larry converted this 1999 Suburban with a 120 Gallon tank. Larry needs a big tank so he can haul his boat up and down the west coast. He sent us this note:

Here are some pics on my completed Burb. This has been a really fun project learning about alternative fuels and doing something for saving the planet and money which both have my favorite color "green" how does it get better than that. I would recommend this kind of project for anyone who wants to have a positive and economic impact at the same time.

Randy's 2002 Excursion is equipped with a custom cargo area tank, with 40 Gallon capacity. Randy drove up from southern PA to have the vehicle converted here at Greasecar.

Tim Leanse had Daryl Beck convert this 1995 Chevy Van with a 40 gallon tank and an on the road gathering/filtering set up. Tim's band needed the gathering gear to collect grease when they hit the road for tours. Tim also opted for other extras too, you can see the temp gauge, vacc gauge, fuel gauge and switch, all mounted nicely to the left and right of the instrument cluster.

Joel's 2001 F-250 Powerstroke looks more like a show truck then a plow truck, but both of its personalties now run on grease. Daryl Beck converted this truck as one of the Beta test Powerstrokes.
It?s equipped with the 40 Gallon Tread plate tank. Joel has logged over 4,000 Grease miles in the last 3 months, and is now looking for a diesel benz for converting. The Greasecar gauge and 3 position switch look stock in this set up.

Ivan and his wife are shown here at the 2005 MREA with thier 1994 F-250. This truck has a custom 40 Gallon Grease tank which Ivan encased in what can only be described as a super insulation box. This multi-layered insulation has kept tank temperatures of 140' F overnight in the middle of WI winters. Ivan donated 20 Gallons of clean oil to the Greasecar oil supply, which helped us get back home.
