Does anyone know where I can purchase some decals related to the whole veggie car thing? I did not purchase a kit from greasecar.com but, I'm very proud of my Mercedes 300D that runs on used veggie (kind of made my own kit), and I'd like people to know as I drive it around that I'm not running on fossile fuel. Is there a place I can purchase decals that say something like, "This car runs on used vegitable oil" Or something like that?? Please let me know. Thanks!

There are some custom "Bumper Sticker" stores on the internet where you can design your own bumper stickers and order same for about $4.95 each including shipping. 3 inch by 10 inches. Nice vinyl stickers.

Any idea what you paid for your Hybrid emblem? I don't want to get reamed by the dealer on a small part.

Hmmm, I wonder if I could pull my sticker off my Insight? See, I am a cheap guy looking to get cheaper! I want to go from 60 MPG in and Insight to mostly free gas in an old benz or something. :-)

I checked out that website but, it looks like they only make paper type "stickers", not vinyl, clear ones that go on your backwindow. Can anyone give me an actual website that makes the clear, vinyl ones? Thanks

I ordered one from them. Their site says " Our bumper stickers are made from the finest synthetic (polypropylene or polyester) materials. We use automotive-grade color pigments, heat-fused onto the material, so the image is resistant to weather, carwashes, etc. The stickers are flexible and easy to apply. " This means that they do not make the clear interior window "clings", but regular outside-on-the-bumper type stickers.

I wanted to put something on the car that would indicate my WVO fuel, but wanted to be subtle about it.

I have ordered from VW 3 different VW badges that I can scavange the letters WVO from. I'm going to replace the TDI on my trunk with WVO.

What about a vanity license plate that says:
"SVO PWR", "VEGGIN", "FRYNLOW", "GREASIN" or the like. When some layman ask about it you can preach the gospel of grease.

Fairly new greaser. 2000 miles ago. 300td MBZ. Lovin' every mile. Our company can screenprint custom bumperstickers in bulk or cut individual vinyl window decals. Some of our decals have been outdoors for over 10 years and still look very good.

So do you have a website or toll free #? How much would it cost for something in white letters, clear background to go on back window that says, "Alternative Fuel Vehicle" or, another that says, "This car runs on used veggie oil" ?? I would by one from greasecar but, I guess they don't want to sell me one since I didn't buy a kit from them! Silly, because it would be free advertising for them. Oh well, their lose. I've emailed them 2x asking how much but, no response.

I picked up 2 "HYBRID" emblems from the Honda Dealer for $20 each. They are for the 2002 Honda Civic Hybrid. They look awesome and they just peel and stick.

edecals.com

That's where I designed mine. Good service, they send you an email proof before making your design. I installed it on Vanessa yesterday. Wasn't hard, they even include a "squeegee" tool for smoothing the decal down onto the glass. They do great work!

OT, are you nuts? No way I'm gonna tell you that, just so you can point out for the thousandth time how I've been "victimized."

I paid a reasonable price for the quality of the work and size of the decal (6.5 inches high, 22.5 inches long). It looks great.

I had a custom emblem made for my MB.

Cost me $60, but I also wanted a subtle indicator.

I think it was www.custom-emblems.com Yeah, that was it. Guy did a really nice job - you can have him do ANYTHING.

Smiles,
Eric
