Just for fun conversation, I'm throwing it out there that I've never heard a TDI run before. I'll probably go on youtube and look for a video showing it, but until then I'll just wonder.

Are they a lot quieter than my 27 year old Rabbit that wakes up my whole block when I go to work? The old Mercedes have a similar sound to the VWs, just seem to idle smoother. the new "clean diesels" by Audi and such I've heard are as quiet as the new gassers. Also I'd like to say that I kinda like the sound of the old Diesels.
