howdy to all!
i'm interested in meeting and greeting any and all greasers in the northeast. particularly in hosting some sort of gathering,bbq,horshoe,music,ping pong,bike,hike,info share,fun,campfire sorta thing. i got the space for it, and the time for it, and would love for people to jump on board!
the white mountains would be a great venue, and i hope the word will spread that i'm looking to host this sorta thing.
please feel very FREE to post or email me with any ideas or suggestions relating to the fun that may happen (this fall?)

I think a march on Washington in Greasecars would be more useful that getting drunk on a hill in NH electing the latest grease god.
sure you might get some news time and get the word out a bit more to the GP but if you want to make a diff. if has to clog the streets of D.C. (a little bit of the 60's is what we need here)
I have all me Neighbors coming to all the time telling me about the latest news they have seen about grease cars so I'm inclined to believe that lots of people already know about driving on grease.
I am more inclined to believe that our law makers need to know more about using recycled VO for fuel and try to make it easer for thoughts of us willing to deal with the mess, and smell of collecting filtering, and running on VO. (ask BM, FG about this)
I mean a party is nice but dident we just have one billed as "GreaseStock"?
maybe it's time to organize and strike? (LOL well at least march) I mean really collecting a bunch of greasers to sit around a fire and sing greasen songs just is not going to accomplish much. I'm not agents fun but how much fun can one have?
maybe do this party as an after party for something political and productive.
I'm not trying to rain on any parades I just thought I would put in my 2 cents and hope it as seen and productive.
Heck greasers converge on D.C. and then drive to the party on grease up I-95 through D.C., NYC, BOSTON, now that should make some news. do it during the week during rush hour.
I'll be in Canada so good luck and have a good time.

I get a funny feeling that protesting and being in the military just don't mix well. But i am allways up for a nice peacefull gathering somewhere other then at the commander in chief's place :). I also would support petitioning through senators or selectmen.

in my neck, there are alot of people interested in alternatives, but few give second thought about it.
when i tell people that the benny runs on a recycled product, they give props, but never ask how they can do the same, even after i offer help doing it!
too bad, because most people i know would love to go green and save a few bucks. I could chock it up to naivety, but alot of these folks are my friends. i guess they're content with the convenience of a gas station. oh well :(

as far as where we are located, i'd like to leave that to personal messages instead of posting for all human beings to see.
what i'll do is ask for anyone who will definitely be attending to post your email in your profile. if you prefer not to post your email, i guess you can email me directly, thought my spam filter may catch it. if you put GREASE CAR FUN or something of the like in the subject, i'll be more likely to catch it.

i've got lotsa room for camping here, but if you prefer to get a hotel or motel, then just leave your info and i'll get you some great info on what to do.
this area's a great place to spend some leisure time, and i'd like for everyone to do some research on this area before coming to get a good grasp on some activities we can do. your ideas are definitely welcome, though i do have insiders knowledge of hot spots.
look up MOUNT WASHINGTON VALLEY NEW HAMPSHIRE for ideas, and let me know what you think!

Ok, how about a yooper showing up? Looks like I might have some time for a 5 day trip two days there, one to drink the brew and chew the grease and two days drive back, Already set up for -20 degree grease operation ( my F350 did its first run when it was -20f outside) The U.P. ( upper penisula is a ways away but I'm 75% that I can make it if nothing comes up) My son is scheduled for some operations and the dates might get in the way. 17 MPG veegie or diesel, but counting diesel only on trips 111mpg and while towing my 9,000 lb trailer 70 mpg
