9 new CHICK-FIL-A'S will open in fla. in 2007 probly more,2 new stores in JACKSONVILLE IN 2007 i will go too all but miami... each grand opening you go to you get 250.00 worth of free food 52 business cards one for each week of the year all you have to do is be one of the first 100 you stay overnight in the parking lot they wake you at 5am and have you out of their by 630am on grand opening day... every one i have gone to it has rained the night you stay outside... the last one in mount jullett tenn. really sucked it dropped down into the 40's maybe high 30's it was freak'in cold... i give my tickets to the homeless people they are happy to get them... i'am eating chick-fil-a everyday myself, NO FRIED FOOD i eat the garden salad with charbroil chick strips it is awesome...

I asked, I did not demand. Cutting and pasting corporate advertising into a peoples forum isn't a free speech issue. I didn't suggest that one tank be banned or censored. I was simply trying to call his attention to the fact that providing free advertising to a corporation which supports the radical christian right, factory "torture" farming of chickens, etc. goes against the whole idea of getting your fuel from the dumpster rather than handing your money over to the multinationals and giving the government it's cut so that it can buy more bombs to drop on civilians.

I've never wakened in the morning with the idea that the world is 'going to shit'. I'm revitalized every time I look out my window in the summer at a 5 a.m. sunrise. I don't swallow the tiresome spew about global warming any more then I fell for the 'global cooling' scare we endured in the 70's. I grease for purely economic reasons. I'm grateful for my millionaire employer who had the guts and fortitude to stick his neck out 25 years ago and risk everything he had to start a risky venture. He deserves everything he has, and he has generously put the food on my table for the past 6 years. Thank God for the janitors and garbagemen who are grateful for the jobs that the lefties like to call menial. I see in your signature you have a 93 300D. I have been reading in other MB forums and it seems the the 91-96 MBs have a lot of problems. Have you had any issues with yours?
I would like to get a newer car but am scared of leaving the reliability of my 85 MBs.

Hey, scmadm. I have had zero problems with my 93. Granted, I haven't had it all that long. I've driven it about 15K total miles and maybe 2500 grease miles.
The car currently has 174K (edit).
Also, the previous owners took extremely good care of it.

Anticap's first posting asking for someone to change his posting because of a Christian company's advertising "offended him" was out of line. Of course members here will say so. Some say it more politely than others. As a christian, my goal is not to push you away from Christ by being judgmental or mean spirited but rather to show that we all need his love and forgiveness as no one here is perfect.
I will continue to write replys to posts I think are needing it, but as always I do respect the poster and say what I must politely. My only request (this is just me talking as I cannot speak for others here) is when one is posting is that it not be laced with profanity or downright attack someone. Make your point but do so without watering it down with a ranting/crazed style and your point will go further.

Why do we all have to be labeled? If you look at my post's you'll see I was taking an objective view of someone trying to tell me what I should find objectionable. I disagreed. This was done without being profane or vile. It is nice to see an opposing view. Although, if your post is the best points from the opposing side, you have solidified my original thoughts.
Although this thread may not be a shining moment, I think Jesus is proud of me.
FYI: I told some people here at work that I was called conservative on this forum. They got quite a chuckle out of it.

I'm kinda bummed because I haven't been very good at keeping a supply of filtered grease available. I've been driving on petro far too much lately. I really need to refine my setup to make it a little easier so that I will be more diligent at all this.

man, let it settle cold for a week, or half a week, heat it up till it's hot, filter it through a fitler bag, and let it sit at least a week.
doing this, i've had little problem.
It's when I take directly from the barrel the filtered oil goes into I run into problems. I let stuff settle for half a week and bam, problems.

Thank, fase. I think my problem has been that the oil I'm getting is poor quality. There is a lot of crap in it and it's a bitch just to get it through the 200 micron barrel filter. I need to find a better source for my oil.

marshall, heat it completely and let it settle for a week before you start filtering it.
All the crud should go to the bottom.
btw, are you off of any major routes in NC? I drive my grandmother home from FL every year to RI, and i'd love to meet you. Same politcal ideologies, we should share a drink :)
