Looking for grease in Orange County California.

Hey there, wondering if there are any suppliers out there anymore. I spoke to one in LA this morning but they only deliver bulk. I was wondering if there was anything more local? Or if there was enough interest to split a delivery.

I phoned Mike at the 818 area code, His response: un-settled, pumped directly from the restaurant's bin. I asked for a price for three 275 gal totes. He wants $1.50 per gal. He was willing to negociate the delivery price. No price break for local pickup. Been there, done that, no thanks.

Purchased 550 gals of "settled WVO" @ $1.25/gal. from a San Diego "company". It was NOT settled. By the time it did settle in the two IBC's, it was at least 50% fat on the bottom. I found out that the WVO was pumped directly from the restaurant's bin. From now on, I want to see the "settled WVO" before I will pick up the oil.

I am moving to Anaheim, California. I am looking for a SVO or filtered veg oil supplier in the Orange County, California area. I have three 55gal drums.
It is very disheartening because I had my conversion done years ago by a guy named Doug Bartlett. He was licensed by Greasecar but dumped everybody he did conversions for because he could get more money for his veg oil by selling it to big companies. So I have been unable to get veg oil for 4 years!
I'm hoping to find a supplier in Southern California and try to break even on the expense of having the conversion in the first place!

Suggestion: Go around your neighborhood and copy down the Renderers' name and phone number. There should be quite a few companies with in a mile of your residence. Give them a call. I hate to post this ( my pet pieve of incomplete info). I've heard of a Murieta company, just off I-15, that sells settled WVO. Don't remember the price. He does sell Bio.
