Looking for WVO/SVO in Missoula
July 27, 2011 - 8:32pm
I'm moving back to Missoula this fall for grad school, and I am thinking about buying a diesel pickup and converting it to use WVO. I want to know a little more about the availability of fuel before I trade in the Tacoma for a full size diesel, though. Does anybody know of a co-op or other existing supply of filtered WVO in or near Missoula? Anybody on here living in Missoula or the Bitterroot and know of a good supply (of either processed or unprocessed WVO)? Any info would be much appreciated. Respond here or email me at the1joesmith@gmail.com. Thanks!

There's lots of oil available in Missoula, if you are willing to pump from a dumpster Which is impossible from october to april.
A lot of the local restaurants are giving their oil to some bio manufacturer, but I don't know anything about them.
I don't know of any places you can buy filtered wvo.
Definitely come here and figure out a source or two before selling your Taco. You need a good source of heat to filter it in the winter.
Lots of good diesel trucks out here for sale, all the time. Lots of 7.3 powerstrokes and tons of cummins, etc.
Good Luck.
