Pic of your car's dashboard with Greasecar system
I realize that the Greasecar tank usually goes in the trunk of the car. But what is the location of the button or switch that you press to switch over to veggy when the car is running? I assume this button is located near the front/dashboard of the car? Anybody got a picture of what that looks like? Much thanks!

My Jetta (1998) was a little crowded on the Dash Board and I will NOT give up my treasured cup holders. I bought a black plastic project box from radio shack and mount both switches and the fuel gauge in it, I then velcroed it to the top of the dash and added wire loom to dress the wires and I have to say it looks ok, not tacky at all. Plus its right there so I or my wife do not forget to backflush in the winter time.
I used stock replacement switches from VW and rewired them; if you are interested I am more than happy to e-mail photos. If you are really interested I am more than happy to share my scribbles and notes for this -
Jamie.
I also hacked the VW stock wiring; so that I use a set of relays to utilize the dash gauge for both diesel and WVO.... e-mail me if you want details...

The switch, and if you like the fuel gauge, mount on the dash, though you could put it anywhere you wanted. If you don't want to change the look of your vehicle, you could always put it under the dash or seat or wherever.
You could also buy a switch that matches your other factory switches.
And if you don't like the look of the fuel gauge, you can probably add a switch that will allow your factory fuel gauge to read either tank.
Sorry, I can't do e-pictures, but I'm sure another will.
