WVO for cross country trip in August

I have two veggie cars for my family of four. My wife and I are planning a trip from North Carolina to Montana this August for a family visit. We will take the veggie benz and wonder how to find oil on the road that is clean. Are there folks along the way who could provide oil or do we stop at restaurants and such. Thanks in advance.

hey gibil777,
whats your filtering set up look like?
i just crossed the country using the grease beast mobile filtering kit. i was totally phsyched with the performance but it wasn't horrible besides the transer pump switch burning out and having to rewire it.
i am very interested in perfecting the getting grease on the road routine and would be greatful for any advice.

I took a short trip this week and found that most businesses I stopped at for lunch found it very interesting that my big truck ran on used veg. oil and they were more than happy to let me pump a few gallons from the back of their business. I have an onboard filtration system so I can filter oil while on trips. You may want to think about doing the same thing.
