WVO needed for trip MI to Boston
Travelling early July from Michigan to Boston, can't haul enough WVO in my 300d for round trip, looking for sources of prefiltered oil along way- way out going through PA on 70/76 way back probably thr4ough NY on 90
I won't be far from Grease car headquarters- do they still sell and how much do they charge?
Dan
I live just outside Providence, RI (50 min south of Boston on I-95). Let me know a couple weeks in advance of when you'll be coming through and how much oil you're looking for. I can't spare any storage containers but I'll fill your tank. email me (my greasecar username) at gmail. Greasecar does sell "smarter fuel" (http://www.greasecar.com/page/smarter-fuel-filtered-vegetable-oil-only-greasecar-headquaters), I've never filled up there but people who have tell me it's not that much cheaper than diesel, maybe a dollar or so less per gallon.
Thanks folks, I will check this out as the grip gets closer!

Trying to figure out WVO ease-of-travel
Just had my car converted at Greasecar in Holyoke. Their fuel is 2.95 g. for non-members and 2.85 for members.

You should contact William at Collard Green Fuel http://www.collardgreenfuels.com/index.html
He lives in Leominster which is northwest of Boston, last time I talked to him was November time frame, but he sold me prefiltered for $2/gal, and might still be doing the same, or willing to do the same for someone travelling.
Best wishes.
