They did a nice long segment on wvo today. They said how easy it is to make bio-d and no conversion is needed on the vehicle. They made it sound a lot eaiser then it is. They also said that most places now get paid for their wvo. From 6 to as high as 13 cents per pound, and that there is a lot of competion for for the wvo. I have los two of my sources this last week to guys that are willing to pay for it. I refuse to pay as yet, but may have to in the near future. I use around 50 gallons a week and only get around ten from each of the three small ones I have left.

here in chicago every source is getting pickup free, or being paid depending on quantity. Im told via the 'yellow fuel' industry, that commercial vendors are sending their wvo to europe for biodiesel processing.

also told that we can expect to pay in the future - when, how much and what is the max we can expect to fork over remains to be seen. Speculations indicates that the days of free oil is going away. I've been told 10-30 cents. in chicago that may be the next step. In northern wisc, wvo is picked up free and I dont see paying for it anytime soon.

anyway just what Ive been observing.

thats why i alway wondered why people would tell others about a beautifull thing.

The grease car suppliers will also suffer because once the WVO is hard to get or expensive it wont be woth converting.

People will eventually switch to tdi 4 bangers and pay for dino and get 40mpg and be happy with that...
