WVO sucker vac pump?

got 2 80 gallon water tanks... all fittings and hoses installed including pressure gause that goes from -40 to 20....wow thats all i need its ready exept one thing i need something to get a vac
thought about using vac on car but dont wanta mess with that system is going to be mounted on a trailor quick and easy disconnect
also thought about the ones used for pulling vac on car air conditioning systems but it requires 70 psi and my little 5 gal 135 psi air compressor wouldnt be able to keep up and it wouldnt allow me to pull extra vac on tank while sucking at site
refrigerator compressors sound good cheap and i could use a converter to run it but i have called and called looking for them and no one has any in junk yards or they wont remove them due to the freon some places said we send them off and they get all the freon out of them we dont touch them so unless someone wants to sell me one for cheap i am throwing that idea out
anyone got anything to help me?

Got my Gast 12 Volt vac pump on ebay for like $60 and it was like new. Watch them on ebay and maybe you'll find a 12V too!

Starting issues still. Temperature not a factor, but time is. Found IP leaking, believe its the shaft seal.Over time it leaks enough fuel that when its time to start it's like I ran out of fuel. Good thing I have a spare.

i got my tank at a small degree slant on it side so the top is alittle higher than the bottom... 1 inc hose to collect and a 1/2 inc to out in filtration system... wanted to use a inverter to run the compressor because i tapped a 1/2 inc hole in the highest point so i could pull more vac while collecting to make it go faster and so i could fill it up more....
will any compressor work? would a compressor from a small window air conditioner do the job?

Any small refrigeration compressor will work . After you gut the small A/C unit / dehumidifier / refrigerator you have to figure out how wire it iup .The wiring can be confusing because a of thermostat circuit . Also some of them have aseparate start cirucuit with a capacitor . I have trouble figuring some of these out . Maybe someone can give some help here . - Thanks

i have no clue about wiring i am pretty handy with electrical things i can figure it out in no-time just trace the wires just ripping it out without looking could make things alittle harder but not impossible
anyone living near northern tennessee know of any junk yards that sell / give these compressors away i dont mind doing alittle digging

I just bought the 1 1/2 HP Air Compressor Sears had on sale for a hundred bucks. I remove the air cleaner and install a hose barb to hook to my 40gallon Hot Water Heater tank. Pulls 22 inches vacuum before I leave home and it puts about 30gallon in it on site through a 1 inch reinforced vinyl hose with a one inch PVC wand drilled with holes and coverd with a mesh screen over it in about 3 minutes.

Can you do that with any Air Compressor? I've got a Portersomething or another pancake compressor.

just about any kind best way to find out s take it apart and look at the intake....one of my compressors you couldnt do it cuz of the intake style

Go with a fridge or window A/C pump. You can find one out for the trash and bring it home to strip it. Make sure you keep everything you need, alot of them have cap. start motors.
You don't need an inverter, just pull the vac at home and drive. Find a nice fat hose 1.5 to 2 inch for that size tank.
