I just installed the Greasecar kit on my 02' F250 with a 7.3 Powerstroke. At this point I have been through about 30 gallons of WVO. A sluggish start from a dead stop at traffic lights has turned into an ocassional stalling. This occurs on both WVO and Diesel. Has anyone out there experienced this? I though it was the fuels pump so I replaced it with no luck. Same issue. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
air

I think Brian is right on this one. I checked the CPS and that wasn't it. It hasn't thrown any codes either. I think I may have narrowed it down to fuel pressure regulator. There may be some air leaking in. I will repair it and check back.
I have read all over that you are the guru when it comes to Powerstrokes Brian. How can I get in touch with you for some pointers. I am new to this but loving it so far.
Thanks
the best thing to do is post and search here. that way we can all help each other out. the powerstroke is a great engine to run on grease and it takes alot of air to get an air lock. but you have to make sure everything is tight and use the electric fuel pump to remove air. then run it for about 200 miles and check everything again. then you should be good

Will do. Thanks Bri. I am only thorugh about 30 gallons of oil so far.
Well it wasn't a leak around the Fuel Pressure regularor. It wound up being the seal around the ICP Censor next to the High pressure oil pump. Go figure. It took driving it with the scanner hooked up to figure it out though.
Im confused, thats not for fuel (veggie or diesel) thats is for oil pressure going to injectors. how did you loose the seal on that? and did you have to replace the ICP which is on the oil rail. or was it the IPR on the HPOP?

I had my buddy do it while I was at work today. He replaced the ICP regulator. It had a missing coil retainer. I just got back to my office now. No sluggish accelleration or stalling. Seems to be working great now.
IPR coil. my guess is you loosened the nut . anyways we are glad your up and running

Did it happened before installing the GC kit?
Assuming you installed the kit correctly and this happens on both diesel and veggie then it is not veggie related.
Any check engine lite?
Any trouble code? May needs a tuner to read trouble code.
Defective CPS ( Cam Position Sensor) is a common problem. Try that first. It is a great idea to have a spare CPS.
Please update the post.
