I have a client that has a 2000/ 7.3 F250 and when he is running both WVO and Diesel his fuel pressure gauge is around 70-80 psi. It starts out low 30psi and as the truck heats up it climbs up to 70-80 on both WVO and diesel. I would think that it would be a filter clogging if it was just the WVO or Diesel. But since both of them are showing the same pressure it can?t be. The client placed another gauge on the fuel pressure sending unit and that gauge did read the same pressure as the VoControl.
I had the client first change out both diesel and WVO filters to see if that would make a change in the system. It did not.
I was able to do some trouble shooting to the client?s truck. I was able to disconnect both batteries in his truck to see if that would reset the computer. However it has no effect. I was able to confirm that when the truck is off, the PSI starts reading at 30 PSI and then slowly climbs to around 80 PSI. When the truck is running, and is at idle it does the same thing. It only takes a minute or two for the system to reach 80 PSI. Even when the truck is turned OFF.
The system is a stock greasecar kit for a F250 with a vocontrol system. It has a separate WVO filter and diesel filter. However, the greasecar kit using the same F250 electric fuel pump to push the fuel (diesel/WVO) through the system.
I thought I would check with you guys to see if you had any information on the matter.

It's strange that the pump would be bad. Because that would mean that it would be pushing out more fuel then it normally does. I would think that it was the FPR, and it wasn't opening up all the way. I'm going to be running more tests on it tomorrow. So I'll et everyone know what is going on.

Also, check the fuel pressure gauge. I thought I had high fuel pressure on my F250 (the gauge read 75-100 psi), so I put an mechanical oil pressure gauge and taped it to the windshield. The pressure stayed at 60 psi. I think there may be some interference with the electric fuel pressure gauge or a problem with the gauge itself.
My fuel pressure goes down when I need a filter change.
If the gauge is correct, take out the FPR spring. If it is all covered with polymerization, use a pocket knife to get the poly off the spring. If the FPR is all gummed up, the pressure would go higher, right?
Also, how high of fuel pressure is too high? In the HEUI fuel system, would a fuel hose pop off due to high fuel pressure before anything else happened?

Turned out to be a bad vo control sensor or brain. I put a manual gauge on it and it went right to 60 psi on grease and diesel.

Yep, thats what my problem was too. If the fuel pressure gets too high, the fuel filter cap will pop off.

not sure how the greasecar set up is. but my 01 starts and holds 60 to 64 psi. 64 is what you want to shoot for. when the psi goes above 65 it is getting close to change the filter. but when i turn the key on psi goes to 64 and stays there when i start. if i floor it when driving it might drop to 55 psi. if this was on the diesel side only i would tell you to change the return spring valve($75.00) but using 1 pump and doing it on both sides leads me to think it is the fuel pump. put in a FASS pump....
