I'm installing a Greasecar kit this week for someone with a 98 Jetta. Is there anything specific to the TDI as far as hose plumbing or injection pump supply/return locations that I should know?
I've done 3 conversions on IDIs but I just want to be as proactive as possible.
Thanks

Thanks yeah any visuals help.
There was a few pics that showed the IP that's what I really needed. Should be straightforward.

Man I miss my 98 Jetta TDI, I so wish that truck never hit it. But we move on. Your going to need to install a FPHE to bring the temp up, and to get over to WVO quicker. These cars run cold.
But other then that, just work out where you want to put the tank and route the coolant hoses on the drivers side so it can be close to the coolant intake and wvo filter housing.
I know the red 98 Jetta TDI isn't yours, but do becareful about the K&N filter. The oil will damage the sensor in the air intake system.

Thanks for the tips, Michael.
I don't think he has a flat plate in mind, but I do have one that is used and if it's clean enough I might ask him if he wants to include it.
That red Jetta on the Frybrid post.....that's not it's stock air intake/filter. I'm pretty sure this guy doesn't have one like the K&R.

If you haven't done it already check out the installation by JeffNLisa on the Frybrid site. Yes it is a frybrid kit but you will get an idea of the routing he used.
