I'm driving a 1993 F-350 7.3L with a turbo, and I'm pretty sure I got some bad oil somewhere, some of that bottom pancake batter looking stuff hidden under a layer of the good stuff. Optimism (and perhaps foolhardiness) being my nature, I took my chances with it even though it seemed like some might get into the tanks, figuring that the filter back would take care of most of it. Well, my Rancor filter is pretty backed up at this point, but the biggest problem is that the engine won't stay on even while running on diesel. I've already changed the fuel filter, which had some gritty looking vegoil in it, but even after changing it and noticing that diesel was filling up in the fuel filter, the engine is still the same or worse. Not sure what to do at this point, I would guess my injectors are gunked up, but I'm tired of being wrong (and not having a clue what I'm doing). What would you do?
