Having problems with my co-pilot in MANUAL MODE. Upon an initial start up, the readout is the usual version XX, engine temp reading is cold and as the engine temp starts to increase to 195F, the copilot screen go to CABLE ERROR. Shut down on diesel; restart engine. same as above. Shut down and restart- copilot responds as above but sometimes it acts normal BT while driving goes into the CABLE ERROR msg. Anyone have the same problem?

joel12mi - I replaced the MB thermostat with the "winter 82C" version. I have the Copilot sensor forthe engine coolant water and the second Copliot sensor as the VO comes out of the FPHE. As far as removing the Copilot cable, I've done that and the same situation occurs. This is a REPLACEMENT Copilot. GC sent the replacement when I had problems with the first one. They were quick and easy to work with in "solving the problem".
