Here are all my components for my two tank system on my 1991 suburban

SUggestion and concerns I have no taking into consideration please let me know

Two Tank system

WVO tank aluminum->
12v Tank Heater or coolant heated->
holley blue pump-->
6 port solenoid-->
Davco 234 or Fleet gaurd FH23000-->
30 plate heat exchange-->
Temperature Gauge->>
IP-->
Return line to WVO tank-->

This is going to be run year round in NH, im concerned with how to get the correct pressure going into the IP and also what type of tubing to use

Any of advice or suggestion which component to use when there is two listed would help a ton

Dump the crappy 6 port solenoid and replace with either 2 GC solenoides or 2 frybird ones. Pollacks are prone and known to fail and you will never know if they fail untill it is too late.

Davco 234 or Fleet gaurd FH23000?

I would just get a generic filter head this is where you save money and aggrevation. The greasecar filter head is a metric rare part. Stick with 3/4 npt Oh and it should be aluminum not zinc. Use the search command for more info. Stick with the largest fuel hose you can fit. Pressure is an exponent of volume, hence the need in some conversions of a another fuel pump. Good luck.

Are you going with a looped system or the regular greasecar direct return? Either way, you are will need some heater hose to run the hose in hose lines from the engine to the trunk. The fuel in your lines will congeal in NH winters- just today my grease took almost 20 minutes to liquefy and I am in MA. You may also want to buy some cheap pipe insulation from Home Depot to insulate your lines. If you insulate the lines, you can cover them with tin foil to retain heat better. Another idea for you is to get some pink foam board insulation while you are at HD. Cut it out and put it around your tank. It will make the heating process much easier on your car.

Could you provide an example of a generic heated filter because i am all for saving money

Direct return i believe the. directly from the IP return back into the tank

so should every line be HOH to keep the temperature up in the NH winter?

yea that just made me think so in the winter i'll have to run it on diesel for like 20 min to warm it all up so its liquid, but how do i know its liquid yet?

You also need to ad a Lift pump for the VO side seperate from the Dino Side. Also shut off the Dino lift pump when you switch to the VO or your will be deadheading into the Dino filter.

Opps did not see your Holley Blue first time through, That will do it.

In addition to the previous comments , you might want to consider a coolant heated fuel pickup ( like Hot Fox ) instead of heating the whole tank . Also I suggest not using copper components for WVO in your system .

I second that. The pollaks are junk, get two 3-way solenoids.

i've heard from a couple places that copper reacts with WVO and creates contaminants over time in your fuel line. i went with aluminum tubing inside the coolant line for HIH and then used some more aluminum in the tank in series with the coolant line.
