Fuel temp sensor seems to be faulty. Your opinions?

The readings of my fuel temp being displayed on my co-pilot jump around erratically.  For example, consecutive readings will go: 119,82,89,140,121,79,LOW,99,LOW,125 etc.  Sound like a bad sending unit?  Previously worked properly for 2 years.

Sounds like the connections to the sender are getting corroded. It will jump around if that is the case. You could try swapping the connections to the coolant and fuel temp senders and see if you still see the same jumping around (likely bad wire connections) or if the opposite one jumps now (which could mean a bad sender).

Good points Conor, I'll give them all a look ASAP.
