Lift pump for mercedes

New to the greasecar, I have a 1987 Mercedes 190d.
Looks like my fuel/lift pump is dead, Just rebuilt my IP so i dont want to damage it. I was running a carter fuel pump with 10-14 PSI,  Looks like they dont make the same model anymore.
If i could get some advice, How much PSI should I be running with the mercedes?
What pumps do you guys recommend?

Why not use the stock lift pump? You already have it and it can take the abuse of wvo.
