I'm trying to remove a 2004 era oil tank from 2002 excursion. Tank installed next to driveline underneath. My problem is when I tried to remove the oil/water coolant line from tank it appears to be connected inside tank. Is this true. I have no room to drop the tank while still connected to this line, remove the access panel and disconnect. There's just no extra slack and room.
Anyone got some tech tips to give me on this situation?
Thanks
John

PS I have reviewed install CD and book for help. They all refer to newer systems.

Why don't you hire a good mechanic and get it done for you, because it look like a critical to do it with your won , withot having any idea about it. So it's better to fix the problem by experties to avoidea ny further extention to it.
