hey everyone, new to the board, just got my fuel system and i'm in the middle of install. I have a 2001 Chevy Express g35 6.5TD.

My friend said that the Chevy's started making plastic fuel lines and doesn't think I can cut and spliced into the fuel lines with the "T" connector to run to my SV150 Value.

I questioned what he was saying until i went under to look more and there is a little tag attached to the fuel line that says "Can Not Be Repaired".

Wondering if its ok to ct into these and if anyone cut these lines successfully. If not what it the alternative so i can splice in correctly with the "T".

Are those plastic lines close to 5/16 or 3/8 fuel injection hose? If you can get them off and the fittings will work with the fuel injection hose you can get at napa or wherever, you probably wouldn't have a problem. I'm not that familiar with truck applications but on a Mercedes I did it has plastic fuel lines and I just took them off and replaced them. A tee the right size would also work with it.

Good luck and welcome to the forum!
