There have been a number of customers damaging SV-98 cartridges lately when removing them for service.  We decided to put together a quick video guide to walk folks through proper cartridge removal and cleaning techniques in an effort to avoid this problem.

We have other trouble shooting and maintenance articles in the Support and Maintenance section of our site to assist customers technical diagnostics and repairs.  We will be improving and expanding these resources to provide better support.

Are those O-rings available if it is necessary to replace them?

Any response to veggpwr's question he posed on 7.25.11?  Would be nice to know.

We do not offer replacement O-Ring kits as I'm not aware of anyone requesting them in the past.  O-Rings are made in standard trade sizes and can be purchased through a variety of commercial suppliers, unfortunately, they are rarely available individually.

Greetings,
How different is it to disassemble and clean the SV-100? Can I just unscrew the solenoid sub-assembly from the top(COM) port and expect the coil and piston to come out?
Can you make a video for the SV-100?
Many thanks,
Kingsley.

IMO, your SV-100 valves are NG already. Your have to either fix them or replace them. So just try to disassemble one to see.
Just be careful try not to scratch/damage the parts. Clean the valve parts, lub and put them together and test it.
If it works your can proceed to do the other one. Now you can make a video on fixing this one and post it here!!!

I think you can do it.

Hi Justin,

Can you please do one of these videos for the SV-100?
Thanks,

Kingsley.
