I think I may have done something to the wiring of my greasecar kit.

When I had the battery out I had to unbolt the veggie filter.

When I was putting things back together. There was a purple wire hangin beneath the filter. I found what looks like a temp sensor(to me) and plugged the wire into it.

but now I am wondering if it is right.

I dont see my veggie oil level gauge going down as I drive but I do see the diesel going down.

I know the gauge isnt very sensitive but I would expect it to move over the last 3 days of driving.

anyone know if I put the wire in the wrong place or where the correct place is?

You could manually take the cap off and check if the fuel level in the grease tank went down after the three days of driving.

From where I'm sitting it sounds like that sensor and purple wire are for the temp. gauge? Is that working for you?

Just sounds like there's a few possibilities here. If you're diesel gauge dropped when driving on grease, did your exhaust smell like grease? If I found that I was burning diesel when I thought I was burning grease, that would lead me to wonder if my valves were switching properly.

Could always put a little 3 dollar plastic see thru filter right before the injection pump and it will let you see what fuel you're running on. Good luck with your problem.

Found the problem I missed the ground wire when putting things back together.

Definetly smell veggie oil when driving this morning.
