cold upflow -- how long before I add new?
I've just completed my upflow. seems to be working, but I need to tweak it a bit.
how long do I need to wait before I add my next cube?
I filled up barrel 1 then let it set several weeks then added 2 cubes to the top and that started my flow. how quickly can i add cubes?
I'm in Texas, inside if the out side heat matters?
I've not yet added a kit to my car, so I'm in no hurry, so long as I can process 20Gl every two weeks, as that is my demand (and my supply)

Adding heat to the first up flow barrel will help the WVO settle much faster. Adding additional oil depend on how "dirty" the oil is. More dirt = more time to settle. You mentioned living in TX. Most likely the temps are high during the year so you might want to consider using a solar hot water collector. A Greater San Diego Greaser uses a 4' x 10' to heat and settle his oil. Summer temps gets up to 104F. He can get VO up to 125+F temps. I'm installing a ShureFlo to pump cleaned and settled VO through a 4' x 10' to heat the RAW WVO via a large heat exchanger inside a cone barrel.
