Greasecar Privacy Policy
We
at Greasecar greatly value your privacy and we do not: sell, rent, give, share,
or in any way disclose your private information to 3rd parties,
except where legally required.
Shipping Policy
All
web orders can be shipped anywhere within the Continental US. For deliveries elsewhere please call us.
Pick up Policy
For
all pick ups we will call you when your order is ready. You will also need to verify your order when
you pick it up, to ensure you received the correct items.
Greasecar Refund Policy
No
return will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization number (RMA#).
We will accept all un-used and undamaged products back within 30 days from the
time of purchase with a 15% restocking fee. No returns or refunds will be
accepted that are older than 30 days. We will not accept returns of any used or damaged products. We suggest getting shipping insurance when
sending tanks, as they are high ticket items.
Warranty Policy
We
have a 1 year 100% replacement part warranty on all manufacture's defects.
Please note that this warranty does NOT cover any installation error or damages
done to the vehicle due to poor installation. If a 3rd party
purchases the kit to install it, we must have the vehicle owner's information
on file for the warranty to be valid. For those who need more help than can be
provided over the phone, you can schedule an appointment with Greasecar for
$65/hour. We will test all items returned to us, if after testing it's been
determined that it works to spec you will be charged for both the replacement
part and the shipping of both the replacement part and the return of the
original.
Tampering/Modification
We offer free phone and email
support to all our customers. If you tamper with, swap-out or add parts that do
not come with the kit, you will void your free support and we will charge you $40/hour
(in 15 min increments) for phone/email support.
Limitation of Liability
In
no event shall Greasecar Vegetable Fuel Systems, LLC be liable for any direct,
indirect, incidental, punitive, consequential or any other damages or fines
that result from the use of or inability to use, the information, materials or
products purchased from Greasecar Vegetable Fuel Systems, LLC. Further,
Greasecar Vegetable Fuel Systems, LLC shall have no liability or responsibility
for any delay in the delivery, installation or use of the products, as well as
the service life of the products, performance, applicability for the use
intended, proper installation, or the accuracy of information provided.
Unsupported Vehicles (type C Kits)
It
is not uncommon for OEMs to use the same engine in several vehicles. Although
most kits are designed for a specific engine and model, it is possible to use a
kit for multiple vehicles with identical engines. These installations are not simple or
easy. We strongly recommend you use an authorized
Greasecar installer. Any
technical support for such vehicles/type "C" kits over the phone will be billed
at $40 and hour. Your receipt will clearly indicate if you purchased a kit for
an unsupported vehicle. Visit our C kit list on our website.
Change Order Fee & Rush Order
Processing Fee
Once
an order is verified and packet, there's a $25 fee for changing the order. Pick
up's are exempt since the customer verifies their order at pick up. If you just
need to have your kit ASAP, we do offer a rush order for same day pick up /
shipping for an additional $100. By
paying this additional fee we guaranty that your order will be ready for
shipment or pick up by 5PM EST.
