We have received a number of requests from customers looking to upgrade their older style 3/8” O.D. PEX Hose-in-Hose assembly to our current, higher flowing ½” O.D. spec. as well as others looking to build their own conversions around quality Greasecar parts. This product module allows these customers to purchase complete Hose-in-Hose assembly kits custom tailored to their needs.

Our standard 3/8" OD hose-in-hose assemblies have been our standard for over 10 years and can be used to repair older Greasecar systems or build systems for most engines up to 5L. The assembly consists of 3/8" O.D. PEX or Aluminum fuel line encased in a 5/8" ID Goodyear coolant hose which is also used for coolant return and includes fittings to make your terminations.

  All of our larger engine kits now come standard with our 1/2" OD hose-in-hose and this module allows you to upgrade to the new standard. A ½” O.D. upgrade reduces resistance in the fuel delivery line for vehicles with high fuel demand such as those used for towing or equipped with an aftermarket performance pump. This assembly includes 1/2" OD PEX or Aluminum line encased in a 3/4" ID Goodyear heater hose with a 5/8" coolant return hose.

To get the full benefit of improved flow your SV-100 valves will need to be replaced with our SV-150 or SV-200 series. SV-200 are a recommended especially when using performance pumps such as the Raptor.

If you are retro-fitting an existing Greasecar kit which originally came equipped with 3/8” OD PEX line and would like to upgrade to the ½” spec., we recommend that you select the following from the product menu:

-Heated  Feed Line…………………1/2” OD PEX

-Coolant Tee Option………………..(varies by vehicle, select your current size)

-Heater Hose………………………..5/8” & ¾” 36ft

-Hose in Hose Connection………….1/2” O.D. Tank and Filter Tee

-Tank and Filter Tee Connections………..Straight and angle flare

If you are designing your own system you may choose any combination of items but be aware that you will need to select the appropriate sized tank or filter tee to match your feed line size. Don't forget to select the appropriate brass fittings to complete your assembly.
